Last updated: August 1, 2026 — how to report copyright concerns.

Overview

downloadsocialvideos respects intellectual property rights. This page explains how copyright owners (or their agents) can notify us of alleged infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar laws, and how we respond.

About Our Service

We provide a tool that lets users request downloads ofpublicly available videos from third-party platforms. We do not host a library of video files, do not store downloaded videos after the stream ends, and do not claim ownership of third-party content. Users are responsible for ensuring they have the right to download any content they request. See ourTerms of Service for acceptable use.

Submitting a Copyright Notice

If you believe content accessible through our service infringes your copyright, please send a written notice that includes as much of the following as possible:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing (include the video URL and, if known, the exact page on our site involved)
  • Your contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

Incomplete notices may delay our ability to review your complaint.

Where to Send Notices

Submit copyright complaints through ourContact form and select theCopyright Concern topic. Include all required notice details in the message body.

For formal correspondence, you may also reference: [Designated DMCA Agent — name, email, and mailing address]. Replace this placeholder with your registered agent details before relying on this page for DMCA safe-harbor compliance.

How We Respond

Upon receiving a complete notice, we will review it promptly and, where appropriate, take steps such as disabling access to specific material or features related to the complaint. Because we do not host stored video files, remedies typically involve process or access changes rather than deleting a hosted file. We may contact you if we need more information.

Counter-Notification

If you believe material was disabled or removed as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification that includes:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and where it appeared before removal
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
  • Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or any judicial district where the service may be found if outside the U.S.), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice

Send counter-notifications via theContact form with topic Copyright Concern, clearly labeled as a counter-notification.

Repeat Infringement

We may limit or terminate access for users who repeatedly infringe copyright, where we can reasonably identify such use in connection with our service.
